Next APDM User Group Meeting GITA 2008 Houston September 21, 2008!
Welcome to the home page of the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM) This site contains all available information describing the APDM.

The ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model is designed for storing information pertaining to features found in gathering and transmission pipelines, particularly gas and liquid systems. The APDM was expressly designed for implementation as an ESRI geodatabase for use with ESRI's ArcGIS and ArcSDEĀ® products. A geodatabase is an object-relational construct for storing and managing geographic data as features within an industry-standard relational database management system (RDBMS). Version 4.0 of the model and supporting documentation can be downloaded by anyone from this site.

The APDM is now in Version 4.0 and has been in existence as a published Pipeline data model since July 2001. The APDM continues to evolve with the guidance of ESRI and the ESRI Pipeline user community under the auspices of the ESRI Pipeline User Groups (PUG)
